Our Farm, Our Story
For over 125 years, Buehler Farms has been rooted in the rich soil of the Missouri Ozarks.
Our story began in the 1870s when our ancestors emigrated from Switzerland, establishing a traditional family farm in the lush Spring River Valley. They cultivated the land with a small dairy and a variety of crops, laying the foundation for generations to come.
Over time, in our society, we observed a shift in agriculture towards prioritizing economic output, sometimes at the expense of nutritional benefits, holistic well-being, and environmental sustainability. At Buehler Farms, we recognized the need for a different path forward. Driven by a deep respect for the land and a commitment to natural practices, we made the conscious decision to transition to USDA Certified Organic farming, with a focus on nutraceutical crops.
